These rules help us maintain a safe, respectful, and effective environment for all Taraxa users, developers, and node operators.

🧭 1. Be Respectful

We value respectful and professional interactions.

Treat all members with courtesy and kindness.
Avoid personal attacks, harassment, or inflammatory language.
Be patient and helpful, especially with newcomers.

Disrespectful behavior may result in warnings or removal of content.

💬 2. Stay On Topic

This forum focuses on topics including:

Taraxa protocol discussion
Node operation & troubleshooting
Tools and infrastructure
Validators & network updates
Ecosystem projects and integrations

If your topic is off-topic, moderators may move it or ask you to revise the post.

🧑‍💻 3. Post Clearly and Helpfully

Before posting:

Search the forum to see if a similar topic already exists.
Give your post a clear, descriptive title.
Provide necessary details such as:
- Node version
- Operating system
- Logs or error messages
- Steps you already tried

Example:

OS: Ubuntu 22.04  
Node version: v1.3.0  
Issue: Sync fails after latest update  
Logs: [paste logs here]

Good structure increases your chances of getting fast, helpful responses.

⚖️ 4. Posting & Approval Rules

New members’ first posts may require moderator approval.
If your post is held for approval, please do not repost the same content / a moderator will review it soon/.
Members in trusted groups (e.g., Node Operators) may post without approval.

When posting logs/configuration, sanitize sensitive data.
Never ask others to share sensitive access information.

Clearly indicate it’s not original content.

Moderators may:

Issue warnings or suspensions

If you disagree with a moderation decision, you can appeal respectfully via a moderator or the designated support tag.

📣 9. Direct Messages & Contact

Use public threads for technical support whenever possible.
Don’t send unsolicited DMs for node troubleshooting or requests for private access.
